I've always loved Halloween
but I hate dressing up.
It's probably just the candy that I love.
So maybe I should just say:
I've always loved candy.

I would love to say that this is my candy... but it is sadly just a google images photo. I'm on a diet, people. there is no place for this in my life anymore.

I was actually always the opposite, I loved dressing up, but was never a huge fan of the candy. I'm sorry to say, I actually usually threw it away when I got home. I wish I knew you then:) I was always more of a dessert kinda girl.

I SHOULD be on a diet and I SHOULD cut candy out of my life but, instead, I just continue to eat it. I'm under the illusion that if I just THINK really hard about losing wieght then I will.

In California, when your Uncle Kent, Aunt Jenny and I were young there was a street in town named Regent Circle where some movie stars lived. Each Halloween, we loved trick or treating on Regent Circle because they gave out full sized candy bars - not those bite sized minis. After we would complete the circle once, we'd try switching something on our costumes and going around again. We thought we were fooling the residents with our altered costumes, but eventually they told us to get lost - they got tired of seeing the same group come around. I actually think it was because they saw all the big candy bars in our bags and knew we hadn't been trick or treating anywhere else. Those were the good old days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Auntie M.

I too, love candy. infact. I am going to the store right now to get the 50-75% off Valentine's Day candy. I'm totally crossing my fingers for some of those reese's hearts. You know, the ones that taste better than the normal reese's?? Wish me luck!!

o.k., the BIG question here is: Why are we talking about Halloween (it's Feb. friend) and candy? I hate Halloween, I love candy, but should not be eating it. I WAS doing really good today, but now, I am going to have to go find some candy to eat. I would write more, but I am having a candy fetish (sp) right now and need to go.

Hmmmmmm--candy. My sister used to keep here Halloween candy forever. No kidding, sometimes until the next year. She was sick I tell you. Now me, oh, mine was gone by day three, because I know what to do with candy. duh.

I love Halloween, but it's just for the candy! The best part when I was younger was trading to get what you really wanted with the neighborhood kids! I'm sorry to hear candy no longer has a place in your life...I hope it doesn't come sneaking back anytime soon.

I'm a big fan of chocolate! and that 100 grand right there, and that Reese's right there, and pretty much anything with peanut butter in it, and caramel, and and and....

Diets are the worst. I went on a diet a few months back to get rid of ALL of my baby weight... well I got rid of it but made a few enemys along the way because I was an onry little woman!

Dressing up and candy are fun... but strangely I think that I like the dressing up part more at Halloween. Usually. Unless we're talking about Reeses, then that is a completely different conversation ;) Mmmm. Peanut butter!
