I truly wish I could be a  photographer/wedding planner/floral arranger/hair stylist/author/interior designer/seamstress/flight attendant/graphic designer
but I've never seen a job posting for that.
nor do I believe I have ever found a college that offered that as a major.

A lot of those sound fun! I've actually thought about doing most of them. I think I've settled on photography...I'll probably change my mind though :)

LOVE the list....
I serioiusly considered a few of them myself.

I think you would have to go to several years of different training to do all of them. I have been and continue to be a photograper, EMT, Postmaster, Crafter, Mom, Speaker and Writer. There are many other things, but those would be the main ones. I promise that if you pursue the things you love, you will be able to experience them.

I guess I wasn't sure what I wanted to be. I spent four hard years getting a vocal performance degree in music and now I investigate fraud. Go figure! I'm not sure how those relate, but I guess I can scream on pitch if I get into serious trouble. Auntie M.

We have lots in common! I wish I could be all these things.. except the flight attendant. And I actually do know how to arrange flowers, and love it!

The funny thing to me is how different we can be. None of those is something I would want to do with the exception of being an author. That's just because your mind is colorful in a different way than mine. Then again, you probably wouldn't want to be an entertainment law attorney/internet marketer/investigator/public administrator/high school teacher/CEO. Good thing we have the same sense of humor!

I'd love to be an author, photographer, or a flight attendant, those sound pretty good - my number one dream is author :)

Well...I'm not a very good photographer, my dad was a wedding caterer/planner, my clever little April did the flowers for Lyndi's wedding, I wanted to be a hair stylist when I was little, I've written 11 children's books so I used to be an author, I want nothing to do with interior design--because I'm very bad at it, I made everybody's prom dresses (for $20 I might add--sheesh!) in High School, my dad was a pastry chef for United Air Lines for 30 years, and I know NOTHING about graphic design. How's that for connection? :]

Wow Kali that is quite the job! I wanted to be a graphic designer for a little while, but that didn't last too long...good luck finding your dram job! :D

I'm with you on that one Kali!!! I'm going to copy my Mom by saying...

I too love taking pictures, I made wedding cakes at Macey's for a couple of years, I picked out all the flowers for my wedding and my sister arranged them, I didn't ever really want to go to hair school but I know it would be interesting, my Mom's an author... and I went to the State level with a poem I wrote for Reflections, I took an Interior Design class in HS and college, I don't know how to sew, I took a flight attendant class in high school and I never been a graphic designer but I was a moderator of a chat room once! :P HA... sooo goofy! :)

It can be done you just need to be like the German philosopher Johann Wolfgang Goethe and go to school for the rest of your life.

Maybe we can do it togther, it seems like we have the same desires.

I would love to be a wedding planner! That is something that I think I would really enjoy... the problem is that I live in Utah... and on top of that UTAH COUNTY and I am not willing to go to school for something that wouldn't be worth it to me in the area that I live. People just don't want to pay the money for a wedding planner; I didn't.

Umm, I could try to relate with you and my mom, and my sister... only it would be a lie (except for the photography. I do like that). Sometimes I really don't feel like I can do anything. I just do a bunch of random stuff as life requires. Really, I've always had a hard time trying to come up with things I like to do or hobbies. It's not because I don't like doing them, but I'm more of a chameleon that does whatever comes up.

So maybe I need to look for a Chameleon degree somewhere.

Agreed :) Wouldn't it be awesome to be awesome at so many things?
