my dad used to say, "you can pick your friends. and you can pick your nose. but you can't pick your friend's nose."

what about little brothers?
Because I used to pick cooper's nose all the time.
don't worry.  i was like 2.  my mom has it on video - maybe i could show you sometime :)

Last night, i made the weirdest dinner...
pretty much just threw everything i could find into a glass dish and then baked it for an hour.
i told wade to be ready to order chinese.
it was disgusting. (but healthy!) we ate it anyway.
and then wade stared at the leftovers and said, "maybe we should throw that away."
and for wade to say that means it was really bad
because he is king of mixing all the leftovers in the fridge and eating them all together.

We gave out cat too much milk in her food bowl once and so--being kids we poured what she didn't drink into a cup and stuck it in the fridge to give her later. My dad said, "Who leaves these half full glasses of milk in the fridge just waiting to be tipped over?" Before we could stop him--he drank it. No lie, it had cat food bits in it and everything. Still makes me gag.

I love that you tried mixing up random things, I have always wanted to do that, I need to work on not being such an exact recipe follower and coming up with more creations. So nice of Wade to eat it:)

I've heard your dad say that before! But I can't say that I have ever tried to pick anyone's nose, not even my little brother's. P.s. tomorrow, tomorrow, i'll see ya tomorrow. It's only a daaaaaaaaaaaay aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaway!!

Haha my dad STILL says that all the time! They think they are so clever. :)

I've heard that saying, but I've never tried it... ick. Noses are gross.

How brave of you to try a new recipe! ;) The closest I get to mixing up new things like that is adding a couple different spices to some chicken I'm cooking. I found that I like cinnamon on my chicken! ;) Ha ha ha!

Sometimes you have just have to throw together whatever you can find! I've done it before. Sometimes its good and sometimes it pretty nasty. Way to be brave and eat it anyway :)

I remember that saying!! HAHA.. I want to see that video of you picking Coopers nose! I love leftovers.. but agree that sometimes throwing together things isnt always the greatest.

You should try picking your friend's nose sometimes and just see what happens... just test it out and let us all know. Cooper doesn't count; he's family.

I just read Jens comment and that is just sick and wrong...DON'T try it. (I know that you were thinking about it.) Anyway that is a subject that I desire NOT to talk about.
As for fixing dinner, hey, at least you fixed dinner!!!

When I'm at school, I have cosmetology theory every morning for an hour and a half, and it is EXTREMELY boring. So, to entertain myself, I try to stick my pen or pencil up the noses of my friends that are sitting next to me. I do it almost everyday and they still fall for it. every. time. hahahaah

hahaha the dinner story made me laugh outloud. That's funny. Preston always wants to throw leftovers away, even when they are good! For some reason he doesn't like leftovers very much... which is kind of annoying.

I never thought I would be one of those moms picking my kids nose but, of course, I have become one.
