honeymoon

We spent our week in beautiful San Diego, California. We thought..."the beach, how romantic." Only, we didn't think how un-romantic the beach can be when you fry yourself the first day. Wade got so sunburned he was almost purple. So we spent a day inside and went out to eat the next night. I got food poisoned. You can only imagine how long our night was... Poor wade got to take care of me until the early morning light. Besides that, we had a great time!

this picture is great because it shows Wade's awesome sunburn
and the restaurant that put my life in jeopardy

We stopped in Las Vegas at my favorite Bellagio fountains. We also rode the New York, New York rollar coaster. Fyi - the coke in Wade's hand cost 4.00 dollars.

We spent the fourth of July on the beach. We had to get there around 6:00 a.m. just to get a parking space. We staked out our spot and spent the next 15 hours waiting for the fireworks at La Jolla. Don't worry, we brought an umbrella this time. But don't even get me started on the people who were next to us. The beach was so crowded that the people around were like a foot from our towels. Picture this: to the left, we had some people from, let's just say scandinavia ( i have no idea...some place in europe) and they were blaring some techno-disco crap. At the exact same time, we had some ghetto kids listening to rap on the right side of us. It was enough to drive any person insane.

he's just so stinkin' cute.

gross.

aww...precious.

We also met up with some friends, Marissa and Jason (and their dog), in San Diego
for lunch. It was so fun to see you guys!

Despite the many hours driving in a car, we had a lot of fun together. We're having a lot of fun getting to know each other better every single day - morning breath and all. :)

happy anniversary!

thats right, folks. One whole month today. I know I disappeared for a while, so I figure our one month anniversary is a great time to catch up right? I think I'll start with the best day of our lives: the wedding. Everything went so perfect. You always hear about the crazy brides who go insane and cry all day and scratch everyone's eyes out. I did no such thing. In fact, the day went perfect. Our sealing was amazing. The ceremony was performed by Bruce R. McKonkie's son. He gave us a lot of good advice and a lot of good laughs. I was given permission to elbow Wade in the chest every time he needs a reminder. ha. Also, he was told to tell me he loves me every time he gets hungry. You can go ahead and guess how many times I hear "i love you" a day. The reception that night was everything I hoped it would be. I loved my flowers, I loved my tables, I loved my lanterns...but mostly I love my husband. Which is probably the reason it was such a good day. :)

thanks so much to everyone who has shown us so much support. It was so good to see you all at the reception. We also appreciate all the help with the wedding day. Mom! You are the best! and we have a wonderful family and friends who put so many hours into making our day perfect. ThAnK yOu!

love

I know I'm supposed to be on my honeymoon and ignoring the world, but I just wanted to publicly declare that I am madly in love with my husband.
