I once, in all my young glory, got on the back of a blind date's motorcycle.
wearing shorts.
I still have the scar to prove it.

(don't judge the grundgy winger's get-up. i used to live there and went home in my spare time.)

OK, so I can't relate to that cause I'm scared of motorcycles. But this is my way of relating to this one....I worked at a restaurant too, Training Table! I was grungy all the time too. Does that count? :)

Haha Kali, I can definitely share a story with this one!! I was there! I am so sorry about your poor burn, it was a fun night though, I miss hanging out and can't wait until you move back to Idaho and we can see each other a lot more!! Also, love the Wingers shirt, those were some good days, I will never forget the first day you trained me and after our shift we shared a blt, your favorite:)

I have been a blind date. Once on a blind date I rode on a motorcycle. Fortunately I did not burn my leg, but I simpathize greatly as it looks extremly painful. I am impressed with the SMILE on your face.

I don't remember this, was I gone? One time a boy picked me up for a date and tried to drive with the windows open and I was furious, I would never have gotten on a motorcycle you crazy girl!

I had a boyfriend with a motorcycle when I was a young pup, but my dad would not allow me to put one toe anywhere near it. His was a dirt bike and my dad believed that I would surely be killed if I took even one ride. In two years of boy/girlfriend-ness--I never did come near it.

Ditto on the motorcycle burn (except mine was on a tote-go - not sure of the spelling for that contraption). But not ditto on the grungy Winger's outfit. Auntie M.

Hum...How to relate to that...I don't like motorcycles and have never been on a blind date...how's that?

Sweet battle wound! As for Wingers, at least it has the logo on it so people know that it's for work. Our for Schlotzsky's Deli had aprons that we kept at work, so our white polo shirts and jeans that went with them just looked NASTY outside of work. No one could tell though, they just thought we were ghetto. The end :)

#1. That scar looks like it really hurt
#2. You should put a picture of what it looks like now.
AND now for my connection,
When I lived in Africa, we paid these men to drive us around on boda bodas (little motorcycles). We had to ride them with skirts on and every single time I was terrified I'd get burned so I sat really weird on them and everyone that we passed would just laugh at me. I know, lame connection but I couldn't think of anything else!

So, I did that once. But it wasn't a blind date. It was some guys my friends and I met while "cruising state" in high school. I ended up on the back of some random guy's bullet bike going 100 mph down state street. not wearing a helmet. maannnnn I was so smart back in the day. SO smart. My mom would be horrified if she knew that. I didn't get hurt though. That leg looks SOOOO painful!!!

I once worked at a restaurant(not as classy as wingers) and felt grungy cause of it! :)

OUCH... holy moly!!! What a scar! Speaking of scars... I've got one that runs the length of my back, but it's not a burn. I never worked at Wingers, but I've eaten there before. I ate there with Nate (my husband) and his family. Speaking of Nate, he once had a motorcycle... and he's LOVE to get one again sometime.

That's enough relations, right?!? ;)

Did you see that I'm doing this on my blog too! :) You can add me to your list of people doing giveaways! :)

The beauty of the almond joy pieces, is that you don't have to eat the almond ones!!! just eat the blue and brown ones! it's HEAVEN. I'll be sure to put some in your package if you're the winner!!!

I can relate in a few ways!!! I was on the back of a four wheeler and my friends boyfriend went off a jump.. I flew off and had cuts and scrapes every where.

I was on a treadmill and my brother was putting his toy cars on it watching them fall off of it.. I of course stepped on on and slid off the treadmill it left me with an beautiful scar on my left arm going from my wrist to my elbow.. thank goodness for arm hair.. ya can't see it!

Oh gosh I definitely remember this! When we were in San Diego you had to wrap it in gauze and you would color coordinate the gauze with your outfits :) And then you took the gauze off and went into the ocean and when you came out it looked like a shark bite. Oh, and you got me a job at Wingers.

I realize this is late and so will the others that I am going to catch up on...I know they won't count, but dang it, I was going to do this and forgot. So, my oldest sister has a scar like that, she did the exact same thing and it was gross. The only good thing about it, was the guy with the motorcycle was VERY good-looking!

Totally had Wingers for lunch today. Every time I go there I think of you because you worked there. I have done that exact same thing before. My burn wasn't quite that big but it definitely left a scar.
